Lynn’s focus in the firm will be primarily in the areas of Personal Injury and White Collar Criminal Defense. Prior to rejoining the firm of Lofton & Lofton P.C., Lynn had practiced in the areas of Personal Injury, General Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Class-Action law and had argued and written appeals for the South Carolina Court of Appeals, South Carolina Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also served as prosecutor for The Charleston County Aviation Authority and as an Attorney for Dorchester District Two School District.
Lynn graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in May, 2001. While in Law School she was selected to the 2001 Moot Court Bar and her brief was chosen as a top brief. As the top orator of her briefed issue she was selected to argue before the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Lynn was also invited to join and became a member of the John Belton O’Neil Inn of Court and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. During the third year of Law School Lynn contributed to F. Patrick Hubbard’s Jury Instructions for Criminal Cases in South Carolina: Defendant’s Requested Instructions Second Edition and worked with Professor Gaines on a pending Death Penalty case being tried in Lexington County.
After law School Lynn served as a Judicial Law Clerk for two terms with the Honorable Diane S. Goodstein of the First Judicial Circuit before entering into private practice in 2004.
